Sackcloths:
"Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness" (Ps.30:11).

The term sackcloth originally denoted a coarsely woven fabric, usually made of black goat's hair. It afterward came to mean also a garment made from such cloth, which was chiefly worn as a symbol of mourning over evils and falsities (Gen. 37:34; Gen. 42:25; 2Sam. 3:31; Esther 4:1, Esther 4:2; Ps. 30:11, etc.). See Mourning

Sacred Chakras:
Chakras are energy centers along the spine located at major branches of a person’s nervous system, beginning at the base of the spinal column and moving upward to the top of the skull. Chakras are considered to be a point or nexus of biophysical energy or prana of the human body.

The Muladhara Chakra is said to be located at the base of the spine in the vicinity of the coccygeal plexus beneath the sacrum. From the Muladhara Chakra arises the serpent power. The serpent is the symbol of the Kundalini. According to Hinduism within this chakra resides/sleeps the Kundalini, waiting to be aroused and brought back up to the source from which it originated, Brahman.

During meditation this chakra is visualized as a lotus with four petals. By such contemplation Kundalini or serpent power is aroused and starts it journey from the place of origin i.e. Muladhara where it lies dormant.

The study of the Chakras is central to many different therapies and disciplines. Subtle energy is explored through practices such as aromatherapy, mantras, Reiki, hands-on healing, flower essences, radionics, sound therapy, color/light therapy, and crystal/gem therapy, to name a few. Acupuncture, shiatsu, tai chi, qigong, and chi Kung focus on balancing the energetic meridians that are an integral part of the chakra system.

Sanskrit:
Sanskrit is the foundation of Hinduism. The four Vedas and the Upanishads, the Brahma-Sutra written by Veda Vyasa, the two epics Ramayana and Mahabharata and the Bhagavad-Gita which forms part of the Mahabharata are all in Sanskrit. There are numerous devotional works and hymns in Sanskrit. The exact antiquity of Sanskrit cannot be established with any degree of certainty. This is because, the language can only be traced back 5000 years. This ancient language of India was once very popular, but is now used only for religious purposes. Sanskrit has been challenged by Tamil scholars and politicians who have branded the language as "alien." Therefore, has fallen out of favor.

Santa Claus:
You better watch out. Get ready to cry. You'd better go hide. I'm telling you why. Satan Claws will take you to hell!

Santa is an anagram for Satan. The rearranging of letters (called anagrams) to hide secret names or words has long been practiced in the occult. H.P. Blavatsky, the Satanist and new age teacher writes in The Secret Doctrine:
many a mysterious sacred name. . . conveys to the profane ear no more than some ordinary, and often vulgar [common] word, because it is concealed anagrammatically or otherwise.
(H.P. Blavatsky, The Secret Doctrine, Vol II, p. 78)
Blavatsky also writes, the name is not important – but the letters.
"The name isn't important. It is the letters."
(H.P. Blavatsky, The Secret Doctrine, Vol II, p. 350)
Santa Claus is also known as Saint Nicholas or Old Saint Nick. "OLD NICK" is a euphemism for Satan. The story of a "Nicholas" in Holland during the 3rd century who was generous to children is unsubstantiated by anything but relatively recent lore. There is very little evidence, if any, that the man St. Nicholas actually existed.

Nicholas' existence is not attested by any historical document, so nothing certain is known of his life except that he was probably bishop of Myra in the fourth century. . . ("Nicholas, Saint" Encyclopaedia Britannica 99, http://www.britannica.com/EBchecked/topic/414051/Saint-Nicholas )

Nicholas, Saint (lived 4th century), Christian prelate, patron saint of Russia, traditionally associated with Christmas celebrations. The accounts of his life are confused and historically unconfirmed. ("Nicholas, Saint" Microsoft Encarta Encyclopedia 99)

Unfortunately, very little is known about the real St. Nicholas. Countless legends have grown up around this very popular saint, but very little historical evidence is available. (Del Re, Gerard and Patricia. The Christmas Almanack. New York: Random House, 2004, p. 130)

In the area of Central and Eastern Europe comprising Germany, Austria, Hungary, and the Czech Republic, the Devil had always been, a slender, horned, bearded, fur-covered half-man of the woods. Under the regional names Krampus, Schwarze Peter (Black Peter), and Knecht Ruprecht (Ruprecht the Servant), he accompanies Saint Nicholas on his rounds of gift-giving, originally on December 6th, but eventually on Christmas Day, December 25th. In the early part of the 20th century it was the custom during December to send humourous Krampus postcards to friends. It was Krampus' job to punish children who had behaved badly during the year. Unlike the conventional Christian Devil, Krampus is usually depicted with only one cloven hoof, not two. Not having been a "fallen angel" he is never shown with wings. His tools are a short switch, with which to beat wrong-doers, and a length of chain.

The following references are provided to demonstrate the "devil" who accompanies St. Nicholas is a well documented fact. In every forerunner of Santa this dark and diabolic character appears:

It is the Christkind who brings the presents, accompanied by one of its many devilish companions, Knecht Rupprecht, Pelznickle, Ru-Klas. . . (Del Re, Gerard and Patricia. The Christmas Almanack. New York: Random House, 2004, p. 70)

In many areas of Germany, Hans Trapp is the demon who accompanies Christkind on its gift-giving round. . . (Del Re, Gerard and Patricia. The Christmas Almanack. New York: Random House, 2004, p. 75)

Another Christmas demon from lower Austria, Krampus or Grampus, accompanies St. Nicholas on December 6. (Del Re, Gerard and Patricia. The Christmas Almanack. New York: Random House, 2004, p. 94)

Like Santa, Sinterklaas and the Dark Helper were also supposed to have the peculiar habit of entering homes through the chimney. . . (Renterghem, Tony van. When Santa Was a Shaman. St. Paul: Llewellyn Publications, 1995, p. 102)

In Sarajevo in Bosnia, Saint Nickolas appears with gifts for the children in spite of the war and shelling. He is assisted by a small black devil who scares the children. (Renterghem, Tony van. When Santa Was a Shaman. St. Paul: Llewellyn Publications, 1995, p. 102)

Santa Claus was also inspired by Odin. Odin was a major god amongst the Germanic peoples prior to their Christianization. Since many of these elements are unrelated to Christianity, there are theories regarding the pagan origins of various customs and traditions.

Odin was sometimes recorded, at the native Germanic holiday of Yule, as leading a great hunting party through the sky. Two books from Iceland, the Poetic Edda, compiled in the 13th century from earlier sources, and the Prose Edda, written in the 13th century by Snorri Sturluson, describe Odin as riding an eight-legged horse named Sleipnir that could leap great distances, giving rise to comparisons to Santa Claus's reindeer. Children would place their boots, filled with carrots, straw, or sugar, near the chimney for Odin's flying horse, Sleipnir, to eat. Odin would then reward those children for their kindness by replacing Sleipnir's food with gifts or candy. This practice survived in Germany, and can be still seen in the modern practice of the hanging of stockings at the chimney in some Christian homes.

Sapphires:
Sapphire is a gemstone variety of the mineral corundum, an aluminium oxide. It is usually thought of as being blue in color and that is the most popular color. But they are found in a range of colors such as green, purple, orange, pink, violet and colorless.

It was a favored stone by those who practiced witchcraft. The sapphire was thought to have the power to influence spirits, and was popular with witches and necromancers who used it to communicate with the dead. Sapphire was also believed to be a stone of mental and psychic activiation, an enhancer of insight, extrasensory perception and mental agility.

Sarah L. Palin:
Sarah Louise Palin is an American politician, author and political commentator who served as the 11th Governor of Alaska from 2006 until her resignation in 2009. She was the Republican nominee for Vice President of the United States in 2008. On January 11, 2010, it was announced that Sarah Palin signed a multi-year contract to provide political commentary on Fox News as a contributor.

Satan Attack:
A Satan attack or Beasting attack describes the practice where an individual comes under attack based on gematria findings. The ancient Hebrews during the Middle Ages used a deviation of gematria called “Beasting.” In the Revelation 13:18 we discover: "Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is six hundred threescore and six." From this, Biblical scholars took the number of the devil to be 666. In this period of history if it were possible to find a combination of letters in your enemy’s name, that added, through Gematria, to be 666, then your enemy would be discredited. Beasting attacks were made against a number of powerful individuals, including the Popes of Rome.

Gematria is intended to be used as a tool for obtaining knowledge, so that one may recognize the antichrists of the world and make informed decisions regarding one's life. The purpose of gematria is to help one to better know one's enemies and not be duped by them. It is not to be used as a tool to crucify and persecute people with.

Satan Bound:
"And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, and cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season" (Rev. 20:1-3).

Satan will be bound and confined in a place where he cannot get out for 1000 years. During this one thousand year period Satan is bound so that he cannot deceive the nations into sin and unbelief. After the 1000 year period, Satan will be let loose (Rev. 20:7). The Angel who imprisoned Satan will unlock the "prison house" of the "Bottomless Pit," and Satan will come forth embittered by his forced confinement to vent his anger upon the people of God. Satan will still be the same malignant being after his 1000 years of confinement that he was before. His hatred against God and His people will be unquenched.

Satan Cult:
Our Lady of Endor Coven, also known as Ophite Cultus Satanas (originally spelled "Sathanas"), was a satanic cult founded in 1948 by Herbert Arthur Sloane in Toledo, Ohio. The group was heavily influenced by gnosticism (especially that found in the contemporary book by Hans Jonas, The Gnostic Religion), and worshipped Satanas, their name for Satan (Cultus Satanas is a Latin version of Cult of Satan). Satanas (or Satan), was defined in gnostic terms, as the Serpent in the Garden of Eden who revealed the knowledge of the true God to Eve. That it called itself "Ophite" is a reference to the ancient gnostic sect of the Ophites, who were said to worship the serpent.

Sloane believed in a horned god, which he said was revealed to him in the woods when he was a child. After seeing Margaret Murray's book The God of the Witches, he said he realized that it was Satan (Sathanas) that was revealed to him.

Satanic Faith:
Satanism is a broad term referring to a group of Western religions comprising diverse ideological and philosophical beliefs. Their shared features include symbolic association with, or admiration for the character of, Satan, or similar rebellious, promethean, and, in their view, liberating figures.

Satanism developed in the context of the Christian faith, as an ideological backlash to certain tenets promoted in Christianity. The character of Satan revered by Satanists, therefore, is mainly regarded as the prototypical anti-Christian figure.

Satantic Kill:
A satanic kill, ritual killing, or ritual murder is the sacrificial slaying of a person as a propitiatory offering to Satan.

Satanic Magick:
Magic, sometimes known as sorcery, is the practice of consciousness manipulation and or autosuggestion to achieve a desired result, usually by techniques described in various conceptual systems. The word magick (with a k) is associated with Thelema ideology. Thelema is a religious philosophy developed by the early 20th century British writer and ceremonial magician Aleister Crowley. Aleister Crowley, born Edward Alexander Crowley in Warwickshire in 1875, was the self-proclaimed “Wickedest Man in the World” and the “Great Beast 666” (from the Book of Revelation). According to Crowley: "I chose therefore the name 'MAGICK' as essentially the most sublime, and actually the most discredited, of all available terms. I swore to rehabilitate magick, to identify it with my own career; and to compel mankind to respect, love, and trust that which they scorned, hated and feared" The "k" in magick is a means of indicating the kind of magic that Crowley performed.

At the practical level, magick most often takes several practices and forms of ritual, including banishing, invocation and evocation, eucharistic ritual, consecration and purification, astral travel, yoga, sex magick, and divination.

Satanic Scarab:
The best known mythological figure associating flies with negative symbolism is Beelzebub. A popular title of Beelzebub was "lord of flies" and he is depicted both in human form as a fallen angel and as a demonic-appearing fly.

The most famous of all mythological insects is the sacred scarab of ancient Egypt. The sacred scarab, Scarabaeus sacer Linn., is a coprophagus scarabaeid found around the perimeter of the Mediterranean. This dung beetle was of great importance in ancient Egypt. It is the Egyptian symbol of reincarnation. It is also a symbol of of Beelzebub. It is worn by occultists to show that they have power and is a source of protection.

Satanic Seas:
"And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy" (Rev.13:1)

The Old Testament presents the sea as a dwelling place for "monsters" (Job 7:12; 41:2; Psa. 74:13; 89:9-10; Isa. 27:1).

Satanic Set:
One of the most noted Satanic groups is The Temple of Set founded by Michael Aquino. The Temple of Set is an initiatory occult society claiming to be the world's leading left-hand path religious organization. It professes Setian philosophy and magical practice. This sect represents a theistic approach to Satanism. The Temple of Set was founded by Michael Aquino in 1975 after leaving the Church of Satan due to administrative and philosophical disagreements. Aquino claims that he summoned the Egyptian God Set using Black Magic in 1975, and Set presented him with a new mandate with which he was to formulate the Temple of Set. So as not to become confused, it must be understood that the concept of Satan used by this group is not the Satan described in the Bible. The Temple of Set has developed around the ancient Egyptian god named Set. To Setians, Satan is seen to be an actual being or spirit in the universe. But even though they believe in a literal deity, they do not worship Set in the same way that Christians worship God. Rather, they honor him for representing a deeper level of consciousness and individual strength. In that way, worshiping Set is the same as worshiping the individual.

Satan's Place:
"Neither give place to the devil" (Eph.4:27)

In Ephesians 4:27, Christians are warned not to "give place" to the Devil. "Place" is from topos (Gk.), meaning "1. prop. any portion of space marked off, as it were, from surrounding space" (Thayer, p. 628). This use is applied variously to any inhabited or uninhabited place, of a spot where one may settle or abide, the place which a person or thing occupies or has a right to. Metaphorically, it carries the idea of "opportunity, power, occasion for acting."

As used by Paul in Ephesians 4:27, it carries the effect of warning against allowing the Devil an "Opportunity, power, or occasion for acting." Surely, the idea is that we are not to allow Satan a "place in our space." We are not to allow him to gain an advantage against us by permitting either space or opportunity for him to work his evil, for we are "not ignorant of his devices" (2 Cor. 2:11). We understand this with thieves and robbers. We don't leave our doors open and invite them into our house.

"Neither give place to the devil" means exactly what it says: Do NOT give the devil a place in your life! Don't give him the right or the opportunity to trouble or afflict you. Do not invite Satan into your life. Do not give him a place at your table. Do not give him room to cause trouble. When Satan comes knocking at your door, tell him to go to hell!!!

May also refer to Satan's place in hell. See Hell = A Real Place

Satan's Seal:
The Sigil of Lucifer ("Seal of Satan") is a magical sigil used occasionally as an emblem by Satanists. The image originates in the sixteenth century Italian Grimoirium Verum, or “Grimoire of Truth.” Used in conjunction with other symbols, its original purpose of the sigil was to aid in a visual invocation of the angel Lucifer.

Saudi Regime:
The Saudi Regime is the form of government: the set of rules, cultural or social norms, etc. that regulate the operation of government and its interactions with society.

Savage Cannibal:
A barbarian who eats human flesh.

Scandinavian:
In 2009, a woman walking her dog in a sports field near Norwich is said to have encountered an alien. According to the woman, she was approached by a man who asked her if she would listen to what he had to say. She described the man as 5ft 9in, fair hair, with a Scandinavian type accent and dressed in a light brown garment similar to a flying suit.

Nordic Aliens are often described as resembling Scandinavians.

Scientism:
Scientism is the idea that natural science is the most authoritative worldview or aspect of human education, and that it is superior to all other interpretations of life. Gregory R. Peterson remarks that "for many theologians and philosophers, scientism is among the greatest of intellectual sins".

Scientism claims that science alone can render truth about the world and reality. Scientism's single-minded adherence to only the empirical, or testable, makes it a strictly scientifc worldview. Scientism sees it necessary to do away with most, if not all, metaphysical, philosophical, and religious claims, as the truths they proclaim cannot be apprehended by the scientific method. In essence, scientism sees science as the absolute and only justifiable access to the truth.

Scorners:
Contempt or disdain felt toward a person or object considered despicable or unworthy.

Scoundrel:
A villain, wicked or evil person. Someone who does evil deliberately.

Screech Owl:
A screech owl is a small North American owl having hornlike tufts of feathers whose call sounds like a screeching whistle. The normal territorial call is not a hoot as with most typical owls, but a trill consisting of more than 4 individual calls per second given in rapid succession (sound of a female human in pain or fear).

There is one reference in the Bible as it stands today of Lilith. In Isaiah 34:14 it refers to her as a "screech owl" that was cast into the wastelands along with other creatures that were uncontrolled.

Cherokee shamans viewed Eastern Screech-Owls as consultants on punishment and sickness. In the culture of the Uto-Aztec tribe and the Hopi, taboos surround owls, which are associated with sorcery and other evils. The Aztecs and Maya, along with other Natives of Mesoamerica, considered the owl a symbol of death and destruction. In fact, the Aztec god of death, Mictlantecuhtli, was often depicted with owls. Among the Kikuyu of Kenya it was believed that owls were harbingers of death. If one saw an owl or heard its hoot, someone was going to die. In general, owls are viewed as harbingers of bad luck, ill health, or death.

Sea Cucumber:
Sea cucumbers are echinoderms and are found on the sea floor worldwide. They are sluggish, tube-shaped, bottom feeding animals. Three common sea cucumbers are the warty sea cucumber, the California cucumber, and the white star cucumber.

Most cultures in East and Southeast Asia regard sea cucumbers as a delicacy. There are a number of dishes made with sea cucumber as this ingredient is expected to have a strong cultural emphasis on health. In most dishes, the sea cucumber has a slippery texture.

According to the Bible, the sea cucumber is an unclean animal and should not be eaten: "These ye shall eat of all that are in the waters: all that have fins and scales shall ye eat: And whatsoever hath not fins and scales ye may not eat; it is unclean unto you" (Deut. 14:9-10).

Many sea cucumber species are threatened to extinction as they are harvested for human consumption. They are threatened with extinction in many places, including the Galapagos and most of the Far East. When the waters of Micronesia were exhaustively harvested for the sea cucumber, fishermen set their sights first to Ecuador's Pacific coast in 1988, and then to the Galapagos in early 1992. By the time a ban was imposed in August of 1992, divers had already collected 12 million to 30 million sea cucumbers, according to the World Conservation Union. The ban was lifted in October of 1993, and provided a three month quota of 550,000 sea cucumbers was allowed. The permitted quota was revoked in December of 1993 because over 7 million sea cucumbers were harvested during the first two months of the quota. The deplorable living conditions on the Galapagos, combined with the high unemployment, are driving the fishermen to illegally harvest the sea cucumbers.

The sea cucumber works hard to keep the ocean bottom clean. Sea cucumbers scavenge the floors of the reef, suck up sediment and redeposit it in a more aerated form, much like the earthworm. The larvae from the sea cucumber forms a vital part of the zooplankton that sustains many other sea creatures such as crustaceans, fishes, seals, whales, anthropods and mollusks. Scientists say that without them, sea life around the Galapagos would change forever.

Sea Lettuce:
Sea lettuce is a bright green algae that resemble a leaf of lettuce. As the lettuce blooms, it reaches old age quickly and dies. When sea lettuce dies, bacteria feeding on the decomposing sea lettuce use up a tremendous amount of oxygen in the water. This, in turn, depletes the oxygen available to other species, suffocating or driving them away. The dying sea lettuce sows the seeds for the next year's explosion of growth, a growth that continues cancer-like until finally all life is killed. This death cycle kills tens of thousands of fish.

In August 2009, unprecedented levels of the algae washed up on the beaches of Brittany, France, causing a major public health scare as it decomposed. The rotting leaves produced large quantities of hydrogen sulphide, a toxic gas. In one incident near Saint-Michel-en-Grève, a horse rider lost consciousness and his horse died after breathing the seaweed fumes; in another, a lorry driver driving a load of decomposing sea lettuce passed out, crashed and died, with toxic fumes claimed to be the cause. Environmentalists blamed the phenomenon on excessive use of nitrates by pig and poultry farmers.

Sea Triangle:
The Devil's Sea also known as the Dragon's Triangle, the Formosa Triangle and the "Pacific Bermuda Triangle", are regions in which a number of aircraft and surface vessels are alleged to have mysteriously disappeared at sea in a manner that cannot be explained by human error, piracy, equipment failure, or natural disasters.

A substantial body of documentation reveals, however, that a significant portion of the allegedly mysterious incidents have been inaccurately reported or embellished by later authors, and numerous official agencies have stated that the number and nature of disappearances in the region is similar to that in any other area of ocean. See Vortices.

Second Rome:
Refers to Byzantium, an ancient Greek city, which was founded by Greek colonists from Megara in 667 BC and named after their king Byzas or Byzantas. The city is what later evolved to be the center of the Byzantine Empire under the name of Constantinople. Constantinople fell to the Turkish Ottoman Empire in 1453. The name of the city was changed to Istanbul in 1930 following the establishment of modern Turkey.

Seed Mingler:
"And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay" (Dan.2:43).

Daniel 2 is a chapter of the Book of Daniel, found in the Old Testament portion of the Bible, and in the Jewish Tanakh.

In this chapter Daniel tells the story of a dream about a special statue composed of different metals had by King Nebuchadnezzar and the interpretation of it which Daniel claims was given him by God. Daniel tells Nebuchadnezzar that he dreamed of a large, brilliant statue or idol standing before him. This statue had a head made of fine gold, a chest and arms of silver, a belly of brass, legs of iron, and feet made partly of iron and partly of clay.

Then a stone, cut out without the use of hands, enters the dream. It strikes the statue on its feet of iron and clay, smashing the entire idol into dust. As the wind blows the dust away, the stone becomes a great mountain that fills the whole earth.

The statue is often depicted by modern artists as a figure with its arms crossed. The origin of this depiction is uncertain.

After telling the king what his dream was, Daniel then tells him what it means. Nebuchadnezzar himself, king of Babylonia, is the gold head of the statue. After Babylonia will come another empire that is of inferior quality to his, presumably represented by the chest and arms of silver. After that empire will come a third one of brass, followed in turn by the fourth empire of crushing iron, that crushes all others. This fourth empire will later be divided, however, and end up as the feet and toes that are partly clay and partly iron.

"And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever." (Dan.2:44).

Some people believe Daniel 2:43 could be referring to the fallen angels mingling with the seed of men. It has been noted by some that "they" in this passage did not make sense to be describing humans. The word “they” is a personal pronoun. “They” maybe something other than the seed of men if they are mingling with them.

See the Sign:
Satan and his demons (gray aliens, lizard aliens, mars aliens, shadow aliens and pleiadian nordic angels) will attempt to counterfeit the Coming of Christ, and work signs and wonders to confirm their pretentious claims. According to the Bible: “Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect" (Matt.24:23-24). "And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live" (Rev.13:13-14).

Sell The Bible:
"No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon" (Matt. 6:24).

Everything is about profit and the Christian Church does not seem to be exempt. Preachers on every Christian television channel are exploiting the word of God in a perverted way and manipulating people as to get their money. Everything is for sale, including the Word of God. You cannot put a price tag on God, but some people certainly try to.

God wants Christians to say, "Freely I have received, freely I give" (Matt. 10:8) and, therefore, to share the gospel without price.

When Bible vendors charge you for a Bible, they are in essence saying "salvation comes at a price". How much are you willing to pay? If you act now, you can be saved from your sins for the low, low price of just $19.99. You'll even get a free angel pendant with your purchase. If you can't afford to pay, then to hell with you. Literally.

Jesus already paid the price for your salvation on the cross. To receive this blessing all you have to do is accept Jesus and God into your heart. It's that simple.

Seminoles:
The Seminoles are a Native American tribe originally of Florida, who now reside primarily in that state and Oklahoma. The Seminole nation was formed in the 18th century in a process of ethno genesis. It was composed of Native Americans from Georgia, Mississippi, and Alabama, most significantly the Creek people, as well as African Americans who escaped to Florida from slavery in South Carolina and Georgia.

In the late 18th century, the Lower Creeks, a tribe of Muscogee people, began to migrate into Florida to evade the dominance of the Upper Creeks. They intermingled with the few remaining indigenous people there, some recently arrived as refugees after the Yamasee War, such as the Yuchi, Yamasee, and others.

According to the Florida Historical Society, the word Seminole is from Sua (Sun God), ma (literally mother, but in such connection a most emphatic negative) - ol (people, as derived synthetically from oc, spirit and atl great the generative force of life, as well as the regenerative, being attributed to water - specifically the ocean as the origin of life). The name Seminole is, therefore, "people whom the Sun God does not love" (i.e. accursed).

Seok Church: See Providence

Set on Fire:
Arson is the crime of intentionally and maliciously setting fire to buildings, wildland areas, vehicles or other property with the intent to cause damage.

Self-immolation typically refers to setting oneself on fire. Some Buddhist monks set themselves on fire in Tibet to protest for religious freedom. Setting oneself on fire, especially as a form of protest was first recorded in Lady Morgan's (1817) France.

Seven Sealed:
In the Book of Revelation, John sees in a vision a great worship scene of elders and angels around the throne of God the Father. They are engaged in worship and adoration of the Father and they sing a hymn of praise to the One who has created and who sustains the universe. The One seated on the throne holds a mysterious scroll, written on both sides and sealed with seven wax seals. The seven seals describe the major aspects and events of the Tribulation Period.

The seven-sealed scroll is a document of great importance and a search is made for a person worthy to receive this scroll from the Father's hand. The only one found worthy to open the scroll is Jesus, who is described in symbols which combine the Old Testament figure of the Lion out of the Tribe of Judah (Genesis 49:8) and the New Testament figure of the submissive lamb who has been slain voluntarily for the sins of the world. (John 1:29). The Messiah, son of God, takes the scroll from His Father's hand.

The unfolding of the fate of the earth is now totally in the hands of Jesus who proceeds to open the seven-sealed scroll, one seal at a time. The message of the scroll pertains to judgment about to fall upon an evil, unbelieving world, from which the true church has already been removed.

Sex Changing:
Sex reassignment surgery (initialized as SRS; also known as genital reconstruction surgery, sex affirmation surgery, or sex-change operation) is a term for the surgical procedures by which a person's physical appearance and function of their existing sexual characteristics are altered to resemble that of the other sex. It is part of a treatment for gender identity disorder/gender dysphoria in transsexual and transgender people.

The best known of these surgeries are those that reshape the genitals, which are also known as genital reassignment surgery or genital reconstruction surgery (GRS). For trans women, genital reconstruction usually involves the surgical construction of a vagina, whereas in the case of trans men, genital reconstruction may involve either construction of a penis or metoidioplasty/construction of a penis. In both cases, for trans women and trans men, genital surgery may also involve other medically necessary ancillary procedures, such as orchiectomy or vaginectomy. Surgery will not fix the underlying delusional psychological problems that caused the request for surgery. A long-term study of 324 sex-reassigned persons in 2003 in Sweden concluded:

Persons with transsexualism, after sex reassignment, have considerably higher risks for mortality, suicidal behaviour, and psychiatric morbidity [diseased state] than the general population. Our findings suggest that sex reassignment, although alleviating gender dysphoria, may not suffice as treatment for transsexualism. See DNA Reassign

Pornography or porn is the depiction of explicit sexual subject matter for the purposes of sexual excitement. See Buy Porn

Sex Traffic:
Sex trafficking is the illegal recruitment, harboring, transportation, provision, or obtaining of a person for the purposes of commercial sexual exploitation or forced labor: a modern-day form of slavery.

Sexual slavery or forced sexual slavery is the organized coercion of unwilling people into different sexual practices. Sexual slavery may include single-owner sexual slavery, ritual slavery sometimes associated with traditional religious practices, slavery for primarily non-sexual purposes where sex is common, or forced prostitution.

Shadow Alien:
There are aspects of the universe that we cannot see - which is indeed the case because 95 per cent of the material of the universe is invisible, which is why it is called dark matter. "There could be shadow galaxies, shadow stars and even shadow people," Hawking said.

Shadow people (also known as shadow ghosts, shadow figures, shadow beings, shadow men, or shadow folk) are black humanoid silhouettes with no discernible mouths, noses, or facial expressions; child-sized humanoids; or shapeless masses that sometimes change to human like form and feature eyes that are either glowing or not discernible. These dark figures have been reported throughout history. People, regardless of their cultural or societal origins, make the same descriptions. The dark shadowy shapes have always generated a feeling of dread or terror in those who have seen them. They are commonly regarded as malicious or evil entities. Extraterrestrials are suspected as being shadow people. Some accounts of those who claim to have been abducted by extraterrestrials have alleged that they were subdued by shadow-like creatures. See Dark Matter

Shadow Box:
Shadow boxing is a style of boxing training where the fighter doesn't hit any bags but instead punches the air and moves around on his own, often watching himself in a mirror to help perfect technical skills.

In Corinthians 9:25, Paul commends the commitment of athletes who will sacrifice everything to win a temporal prize. Listen to these words, “Everyone who competes in the games exercises self-control in all things. They then do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable.” Verse 25 also tells us that competing for the prize requires “self-control in all things.” What does it mean to “exercise self-control in all things?” Well, remember that Paul’s analogy is training for the Isthmian games. Among the competitions was boxing. In verse 26, Paul states: "Therefore I run in such a way, as not without aim; I box in such a way, as not beating the air". Paul also states that he isn’t a boxer who merely beats the air like in shadowing boxing. In shadow boxing there is no opponent. Some people are great shadow-boxers when it comes to their faith. They are strong, powerful and skilled for as long as they are not facing any real type of adversary, but as soon as an opponent steps in the "ring" they find themselves unable to defend. In fact, some people are so ill-prepared that they are a sitting duck waiting for Satan to strike! Yet, Paul informs us that when it comes to faith we must stay in the ring, duke it out, and make our every action count. According to the Bible: "Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead" (James 2:17). Make no mistake, Satan will test your faith. If you are not prepared then you are a dead duck who will roast in hell.

Shape shift:
Shape shifting is a common theme in mythology and folklore, as well as in science fiction and fantasy. In its broadest sense, it is when a being undergoes a transformation. Commonly the transformation is purposeful, and not a curse or spell.

Many followers of the Bible consider Satan to be a real being, a spirit created by God. Satan, being a spirit, is neither male nor female. However, like his Creator, Satan is usually referred to as a masculine being. Many believe that Satan or the Devil as he is often called can "possess" human beings. Possession is bodily invasion by the devil. Satan is believed to have many powers, among them the power to manifest himself in human or animal form. There are reports of Satan having sex with humans, either as an incubus (male devil) or succubus (female devil).

Shape-shifting may also be a reference to gender shape-shifting. Gender shape-shifting allows a man appearing as a woman to enter situations from which men are forbidden, and vice versa. For instance, a man entering a woman's restroom. Transgender people often undergo a partial or full reversal of gender. Transgender is an umbrella term for a person who believes their biological sex does not match their assigned gender. See Sex Changing

Sharia Beheading:
Beheading is an Islamic justice to the infidels, criminals, and sinners. This cruel way of killing infidels is sanctioned by Islamic Sharia laws. According to Muslims, Sharia law is founded on the words of Allah as revealed in the Qur'an, and traditions gathered from the life of the Prophet Muhammad. The Qur'an states:

8:12- "I will instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off."

47:4- "Therefore, when ye meet the Unbelievers (in fight), strike off their heads; at length; then when you have made wide Slaughter among them, carefully tie up the remaining captives: thereafter (is the time for) either generosity or ransom: Until the war lays down its burdens."

Sharia Laws:
Sharia, or Islamic law, influences the legal code in most Muslim countries. Sharia guides all aspects of Muslim life including daily routines, familial and religious obligations, and financial dealings. It is derived primarily from the Quran and the Sunna--the sayings, practices, and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad.

Sharia developed several hundred years after the Prophet Muhammad's death. The Prophet Muhammad's life became a model for all other Muslims to follow in what is known as the hadith. Hadith literature grew and developed into distinct schools of Islamic thought: the Sunni schools, Hanbali, Maliki, Shafi'i, Hanafi; and the Shiite school, Ja'fari. The Hanbali School, known for following the most Orthodox form of Islam, is embraced in Saudi Arabia and by the Taliban. The Hanafi school, known for being the most liberal and the most focused on reason and analogy, is dominant among Sunnis in Central Asia, Egypt, Pakistan, India, China, Turkey, the Balkans, and the Caucasus. The Maliki School is dominant in North Africa and the Shafi'i school in Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, and Yemen. Shia Muslims follow the Ja'fari school, most notably in Shia-dominant Iran. The distinctions have more impact on the legal systems in each country, however, than on individual Muslims, as many do not adhere to one school in their personal lives.

Marriage and divorce are the most significant aspects of Sharia, but criminal law is the most controversial. In Sharia, there are categories of offenses: those that are prescribed a specific punishment in the Quran, known as hadd punishments, those that fall under a judge's discretion, and those resolved through a tit-for-tat measure (i.e., blood money paid to the family of a murder victim). There are five hadd crimes: unlawful sexual intercourse (sex outside of marriage and adultery), false accusation of unlawful sexual intercourse, wine drinking (sometimes extended to include all alcohol drinking), theft, and highway robbery. Punishments for hadd offenses--flogging, stoning, amputation, exile, or execution--get a significant amount of media attention when they occur. These sentences are not often prescribed, however. Other practices that are woven into the Sharia debate, such as female genital mutilation, adolescent marriages, polygamy, and gender-biased inheritance rules, elicit as much controversy.

Shaves Head Bald:
Leprosy was a terrible skin disease. There used to be no cure. Victim's skin became scaly and infected. Their noses, fingers, and toes broke off. Lepers often went  blind, too.

It is very easy to catch leprosy. It is very infectious. People were very scared of being close to lepers. Lepers had to warn people that they had leprosy. They had to shave their heads, wear a yellow cross, torn clothes, and cover their mouth with a cloth to prevent the spread of the disease. Lepers rang a bell and shouted "unclean! unclean!". Lepers could get no closer than six feet to anyone because of their defilement. People thought lepers were evil. They shouted names or threw stones at them. See A Leprosy

Shaving A Beard:
"They shall not make baldness upon their head, neither shall they shave off the corner of their beard, nor make any cuttings in their flesh" (Lev. 21:5). "Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard" (Lev.19:27).

God created men with beards and women without. He created the sexes to be clearly distinguished from each other in appearance and of course many other ways as well. This is a standard that can be seen throughout the Bible. A man’s beard is a visible mark given to him to identify his gender.

In Leviticus, God instructed priests not to shave their beards. God intended that the priests set the example for the rest of the community. Their responsibility is to pattern their lives after the Savior, to bear witness through their words and deeds of His gracious Atonement and the truth of His gospel.

Shemale Sex:
Shemale (also she-male) sex is a term used (but not exclusively) to describe sexual intercourse or sexual acts with transvestites, transsexual or transgender women with male genitalia and augmented female breasts from breast augmentation and/or use of hormones.

Shiny Hair:
Asian hair tends to be shiny because their hair cuticles lay flatter than people with curly hair.
Smooth flat cuticles reflect light while uneven cuticles refract light.

Cuticles that naturally lay flat are less likely to lead to dry hair. This is because flat cuticles trap moisture within the strand and they also allow for sebum to trickle down to the ends of the hair without much resistance.

Showgirl:
A showgirl is a female dancer or performer in a stage entertainment show intended to showcase the performer's physical attributes, typically by way of revealing clothing or even toplessness or nudity.

Sideburns:
"Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard" (Lev.19:27).

Sideburns or sideboards are patches of facial hair grown on the sides of the face, extending from the hairline to below the ears and worn with an unbearded chin. The term sideburns is a 19th-century corruption of the original burnsides, named after American Civil War general Ambrose Burnside, a man known for his unusual facial hairstyle that connected thick sideburns by way of a moustache, but left the chin clean-shaven.

The Bible makes it clear that men are not to cut from their face the hair below the sideburns or cut off the edge of the beard (i.e. hair on the chin). It is obvious that the Bible understands the chin area as the beard. The area above the chin on the cheeks is the side burn area, and is distinct. So the prohibition is on cutting the hair from the sideburn area, thus leaving an empty space between your sideburn area and your chin-beard. Basically the Bible prohibits a "Fu Manchu Beard". Satanists like Anton Lavey wear a Fu Manchu-styled beard. Such a beard naturally has a more sinister aspect.

Sigil Making:
A sigil is any sign, image, glyph or symbol that has magical properties. The purpose of a sigil is to direct your subconscious mind to accomplish the desires or needs of your conscious mind.

The pentacle is the most powerful sigil used in Neo-pagan witchcraft and by many occultists. Other sigils serve as identifying logos of organizations. Sigils also serve as amulets, talismans, or meditation tools.

Significant:
With respect to an environmental effect, an adverse impact in the context of its magnitude, geographic extent, duration, frequency, degree of reversibility, possibility of occurrence or any combination of the foregoing.

Sin is Good:
"He that committeth sin is of the devil" (1John 3:8).

People sin because it feels good and they find pleasure in it. Pleasure is temporary. It does not last. "Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season" (Heb.11:25). Because sin feels good, people may think it is good and may not see the harm in doing it. The Bible points out, "The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way: but the folly of fools is deceit. Fools make a mock at sin" (Prov.14:8-9). To mock something is to speak lightly and slightingly of a thing, or to make a jest of it. But what must be the state of a man's mind, when he can make a jest of offending God? We make a mock at sin by showing a blatant disregard for what God has commanded us not to do. Jesus said "sin no more" (John 5:14). Man must learn to show restraint and control his appetite for carnal pleasures.

Sin People:
Sin people are worshippers of the moon god Sin or Nanna.

Six Toes:
Goliath was a Giant according to the Bible. Giants were characterized not only by their sheer size and strength, but by having 6 fingers on each hand and 6 toes on each foot:

“And there was yet a battle in Gath, where was a man of great stature, that had on every hand six fingers, and on every foot six toes, four and twenty in number; and he also was born to the giant. And when he defied Israel, Jonathan the son of Shimeah the brother of David slew him. These four were born to the giant in Gath, and fell by the hand of David, and by the hand of his servants” (II Samuel 21:20-22).

Skeptic Man:
Agnostics are skeptical about the existence of God but do not profess true atheism. Agnostics believe it is impossible to know whether or not there is a God. Thomas Henry Huxley, an English biologist, coined the word agnostic in 1869. Huxley identified agnosticism not as a creed but rather as a method of skeptical, evidence-based inquiry. His ideal was that everyone should be able to give a reason for his faith, or simply not claim it as his own. He said it this way: “In matters of the intellect, follow your reason as far as it will take you, without regard to any other consideration. And negatively: In matters of the intellect, do not pretend that conclusions are certain which are not demonstrated or demonstrable”. See Suppose

Skull - Bone:
Skull and bones is a symbol consisting of a human skull and two long bones crossed together under the skull. It is used in several contexts:

Skull and bones (poison), the use of the symbol as a warning of danger (usually in regard to poisonous substances)

Skull and bones (military), variations on the symbol used by several military forces. The Nazi all black SS uniform is the most well known of their uniforms. Hitler's bodyguards wore black uniforms with skull and bones badges.

Skull and bones (fraternities and sports), the use of the symbol, for various reasons, by many American college fraternities, sororities, and secret societies founded in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. For instance, Skull and Bones is a secret society at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. The society's alumni organization, which owns the society's real property and oversees the organization's activity, is the Russell Trust Association, and is named after General William Huntington Russell, who founded the society with fellow classmate Alphonso Taft. Informally, the group is known as "Bones", and members have been known as "Bonesmen".

President George H. W. Bush, his son President George W. Bush, and the latter's 2004 Presidential opponent Senator John Kerry are members of Skull and Bones.

Sky Drone:
In aviation and in space, a drone refers to an unpiloted aircraft or spacecraft. Another term for it is an “unmanned aerial vehicle” or UAV. Essentially, a drone is a flying robot. The aircraft may be remotely controlled or can fly autonomously through software-controlled flight plans in their embedded systems working in conjunction with GPS.

On Earth, drones are often used for military purposes but they are also used for search and rescue, surveillance, traffic monitoring, weather monitoring and firefighting, among other things.

Other applications include drone surveillance, drone journalism, drone-based photography, etc.

In the United States, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is developing regulations for the operation of unmanned aircraft.

According to CBS News reports that the rules will include a requirement that drone users register their devices.

The move comes after the FAA just proposed a record $1.9 million fine against an aerial photography company for flying drones in crowded New York and Chicago airspace without permission.

SkyPan International Inc. of Chicago operated 65 unauthorized flights between March 2012 and December 2014 in some of the nation's most congested airspace, the FAA said in a statement.

Flying drones in violation of federal regulations "is illegal and can be dangerous," said FAA Administrator Michael Huerta.

FAA officials have said they are receiving multiple reports daily of drones flying in the vicinity of airports and airplanes. Between November 2014 and August 2015, the FAA received over 700 reports by pilots of drone sightings.

Also, the U.S. Forest Service has reported 18 unauthorized drone flights above or near wildfires, and that 10 of the incidents hampered aerial fire-fighting operations.

Sky Probe:
A sky probe is a mysterious unmanned craft or “unaccounted” satellite that may be monitoring the activities of people on Earth.

Slaughter:
The savage and excessive killing of many people indiscriminately. The brutal violent killing of a person. Also the killing of animals usually for food consumption.

Slave Own:
Someone who holds someone against their will from the time of capture, purchase or birth, and deprive them of their right to leave, refuse to work, and receive compensation.

Slave Ship:
Slave ships were large cargo ships specially converted for the purpose of transporting slaves, especially newly purchased African slaves.

The most important routes of the slave ships led from the northern and middle coasts of Africa to South America and the south coast of what is today the Caribbean and the United States of America. The captains and sailors of the boats were allowed to do whatever they wanted with the slaves. This included rape, murder, and torture because the slaves were considered their property. As many as 20 million Africans were transported by ship. The transportation of slaves from Africa to America was known as the Middle Passage. See African Slave

Sokar Beast:
Sokar or Seker is a falcon god of the Memphite necropolis. Sokar was a god of rebirth and rejuvination that was depicted as a man with a falcon's head. Frequently, Sokar was mummiform yet with a falcon's head. He wore the white crown and held a sceptre and whip.

Somewhere:
Somewhere can be defined as an indefinite or unknown location. When you don't know where you are in life you are lost. If you are lost, you must seek Jesus. Jesus says: "If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour" (John 12:26). Are you walking with Jesus? Or are you walking with people who worship the ways of the world? Do you know where you are heading? Or are you headed to places unknown? Jesus has called upon believers to follow in His footsteps. Sheep easily go astray, so in order to eternally experience the protection and guidance of our Great Shepard the Lord Jesus Christ we must follow and obey Him.

Amazing Grace
By John Newton

Amazing grace! how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found;
Was blind, but now I see.

'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed!

Thru many dangers, toils and snares
I have already come;
'Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.

The Lord has promised good to me;
His Word my hope secures;
He will my Shield and Portion be,
As long as life endures.

Yes, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
And mortal life shall cease;
I shall possess, within the veil,
A life of joy and peace.

The earth shall soon dissolve like snow;
The sun forbear to shine;
But God, who called me here below,
Will be forever mine.

When we've been there ten thousand years,
Bright shining as the sun,
We've no less days to sing God's praise
Than when we'd first begun.

Son of Dawn:
The phrase "O Day Star, son of Dawn" in the New Revised Standard Version translation of the Bible corresponds to a Hebrew phrase, meaning "morning star, son of dawn". Isaiah 14 verse 12 states: "When the Lord has given you rest from your pain and turmoil and the hard service with which you were made to serve, you will take up this taunt against the king of Babylon: How the oppressor has ceased! How his insolence has ceased! … How you are fallen from heaven, O Day Star, son of Dawn! How you are cut down to the ground, you who laid the nations low! You said in your heart, "I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit on the mount of assembly on the heights of Zaphon; I will ascend to the tops of the clouds, I will make myself like the Most High." But you are brought down to Sheol, to the depths of the Pit. Those who see you will stare at you, and ponder over you: "Is this the man who made the earth tremble, who shook kingdoms, who made the world like a desert and overthrew its cities, who would not let his prisoners go home?"

As the Latin poets personified the Morning Star and the Dawn (Aurora), as well as the Sun and the Moon and other heavenly bodies, so in Canaanite mythology Morning Star and Dawn were pictured as two deities, the former being the son of the latter.

Son of Sin:
The phrase "son of sin" is a reference to Utu (also known as Shamash) the "Sun" or Son of Sin (also known as Nanna) the god of the moon in Mesopotamian religion.

From a Christian perspective, the phrase "son of sin" is used to denote mankind’s or an individual’s estrangement from God.

Sorceries:
The belief in magical spells that harness occult forces or evil spirits to produce unnatural effects in the world. See Witchcraft.

Space Alien Flag:
The Alien flag is known as the "Trilateral Insignia" and is displayed on their craft and worn on their uniforms. The Trilateral insignia is a black delta triangle on a red background. 'Delta' is the fourth letter in the Greek alphabet, which has the form of a triangle. The symbol appears prominently in certain Masonic lodges, and is said to have had it's origin with the aliens (or serpent race).

Spacecrafts:
A spacecraft is a craft or machine designed for spaceflight. May also refer to an unidentified flying objects believed to be operated by martians, gray aliens, or nordic aliens from other planets visiting Earth. UFO reports became frequent after the first widely publicized U.S. sighting, reported by private pilot Kenneth Arnold in 1947, that gave rise to the popular terms "flying saucer" and "flying disc." Since then, millions of people have reported that they have seen UFOs.

Space Kepler:
Kepler is a space observatory launched by NASA to discover Earth-size planets orbiting other stars. It is designed to survey a portion of our region of the Milky Way to discover Earth-size exoplanets in or near habitable zones and estimate how many of the billions of stars in the Milky Way have such planets.

Space Saucer: See Spacecrafts

Space Water:
NASA's LCROSS probe discovered beds of water ice at the lunar south pole when it impacted the moon in 2009.

Speciation:
Speciation is the development of a new species from an existing species. Speciation is a fundamental issue in evolutionary biology. Its an historical phenomenon so it is difficult to observe.

Scientists claim that evolution can be tested in a laboratory, so their view is scientific. For instance, they point to mutated fruit flies or speciation observed in the field (such as new species of mosquitoes or fish).

The two camps of evolutionary biologists best equipped to deal with speciation (in terms of mechanism, population geneticists; in terms of time-frames, paleontologists) are both incapable of "seeing" speciation except in very special situations. We must rely on strong inference to properly understand speciation. This inference requires an interpretation of what has gone on in the past.

While some evolutionary biologists claim that speciation events have remained relatively constant over time, some palaeontologists such as Niles Eldredge and Stephen Jay Gould have argued that species usually remain unchanged over long stretches of time, and that speciation occurs only over relatively brief intervals, a view known as punctuated equilibrium.

Change has limits and scientists have never observed one kind of species change into another. According to evolutionary biologists, humans have genetic similarities with chimpanzees and gorillas, suggesting common ancestors.

Analysis of genetic drift and recombination using a Markov model suggests humans and chimpanzees speciated apart approximately 4 million years ago. This introduces two interesting issues about human-chimpanzee speciation. Firstly, these results put an upper bound on the age of human-chimpanzee speciation which is in conflict with some inferences from the fossil record.

Secondly, the properties of chromosome X shows an unusual evolutionary history around the time of human-chimpanzee ancestral speciation, which points to the explanation that the structure of the population around the time of speciation was very different from that in modern human or ape.

Reich came up with the idea after comparing the genes of humans and chimps. When two species split from a common ancestor, their genes will continue to diverge, or mutate, at a regular clip over time. Reich and his team of researchers, after comparing some 20 million base pairs (the “rungs” of DNA) from humans and chimps, found that different genes began diverging at different times — with genes located on the X chromosome of humans and chimps parting ways most recently.

Reich’s explanation is that the two populations interbred on repeated occasions over hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of years, producing hybrids of protohumans and protochimps. The male hybrids were likely to be sterile, but Reich posits that the female hybrids (with their two X chromosomes) were able to mate with males of one of the original species. This would explain why genes on the X chromosome of humans and chimps diverged more recently.

It’s a radical concept. Conventional wisdom holds that the development of separate species happens quickly, most often when populations become separated by a geographical barrier. Even if these groups meet again and manage to mate before diverging too far from one another, their offspring will be unfit and die out. Or so the thinking goes.

By contrast, Reich argues that hybrids could play an important and positive role in speciation, introducing advantageous traits into a gene pool — including ours. If Reich is correct, the customary image of the human family tree, with its neat and discrete divisions, should be replaced by another metaphor: a dense and impenetrable thicket of branches concealing countless acts of interspecies sex.

Speechless:
A man who was demon-possessed and could not talk was brought to Jesus. And when the demon was driven out, the man who had been speechless spoke. The crowd was amazed and said, “Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel” (Matthew 9:32-33).

In the present case the demon influenced the man’s power of speech. It is unknown how the demon prevented the man from speaking. It may have been paralyzing his vocal cords, affecting the part of the brain that controls speech, etc. What is apparent is that the observable symptom of the demon’s presence in this individual was his inability to speak.

Spider Hole:
A spider hole is U.S. military parlance for a camouflaged one-man foxhole, used for observation. A spider hole is typically a shoulder-deep, protective, round hole, often covered by a camouflaged lid, in which a soldier can stand and fire a weapon. A spider hole differs from a foxhole in that a foxhole is usually deeper and designed to emphasize cover rather than concealment.

SS Number:
"And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven" (Luke 10:18).

The Schutzstaffel (German for "Protective Squadron or defense corps"), abbreviated SS- or with stylized "Armanen" Sig runes- was a major Nazi military organization under Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party. The Sig rune appears as a lightning bolt. The lightning bolt also referred to as the "Satanic S" means "Destroyer". In mythology, It was the weapon of Zeus. Worn to have power over others. Sig is the name given by Guido von List for the Sigel or s rune of the Armanen Futharkh. The Sig rune in Guido von List's Armanen Futharkh were very loosely based on the Younger Futhark Sigel, thus changing the concept associated with it from "Sun" to "victory" (German Sieg), arriving at a sequence "Sig", "Týr" in his row, yielding Sigtýr, a name of Ódin.

Between 1925 and 1945, the German SS grew from a mere 8 members to over a quarter of a million Waffen-SS members and well over a million members of the Allgemeine-SS. Adolf Hitler was considered SS Member #1, Emil Maurice (considered the founder the SS) was Member #2, while Himmler was SS Member #168. Based on the seniority system of SS membership number, this made Hitler senior in the SS to all other members even if not by rank. Hitler never referred to himself by an actual SS rank nor is there any photographic record of Hitler wearing an SS uniform.

SS Number may also refer to Social Security Numbers. Franklin Roosevelt’s New Deal, in large part mirrored the economic policies that Hitler was implementing to get Germany out of the Depression. That’s why it’s not a coincidence that the photograph on the U.S. Social Security Administration’s website is not Thomas Jefferson but rather Otto von Bismarck, the “iron chancellor” of Germany. Social Security, which the Roosevelt administration enacted in the 1930s, had originated with Bismarck, who himself had gotten the idea from German socialists in the late 1800s. Social Security was also a key part of Hitler’s economic program.

Thus, it shouldn’t surprise anyone that Hitler, as a National Socialist, also embraced such other governmental measures as public (i.e., government) schooling, national health care, public works, national service, a national youth corps, conscription, government spending to achieve “full employment,” government-business partnerships, wage and price controls, government regulation of private businesses, national highways, financial subsidies to private businesses, and a strong military-industrial complex to combat communism and terrorism.

In fact, given that FDR and Hitler shared much of the same economic philosophy and were implementing many of the same economic policies, it’s not too surprising that Hitler sent the following letter to U.S. Ambassador Thomas Dodd on March 14, 1934: "The Reich chancellor requests Mr. Dodd to present his greetings to President Roosevelt. He congratulates the president upon his heroic effort in the interest of the American people. The president’s successful struggle against economic distress is being followed by the entire German people with interest and admiration. The Reich chancellor is in accord with the president that the virtues of sense of duty, readiness for sacrifice, and discipline must be the supreme rule of the whole nation. This moral demand, which the president is addressing to every single citizen, is only the quintessence of German philosophy of the state, expressed in the motto “The public weal before the private gain."

Staff Like A Beam:
Goliath was of the sons of Anak, who at Gath kept their ground in Joshua's time (Jos. 11:22), and kept up a race of giants there, of which Goliath was one, and, it is probable, one of the largest. He was in height six cubits and a span.

He was well furnished with defensive armor: A helmet of brass on his head, a coat of mail, made of brass plates laid over one another, like the scales of a fish; and, because his legs would lie most within the reach of an ordinary man, he wore brass boots, and had a large corset of brass about his neck. The coat is said to weigh 5000 shekels, and a shekel was half an ounce avoirdupois, a vast weight for a man to carry, all the other parts of his armor being proportional. But some think it should be translated, not the weight of the coat, but the value of it, was 5000 shekels; so much it cost. His offensive weapons were extraordinary, of which his spear only is described, as like a weaver's beam.

Stock Panic:
In stock-market terms, a panic is a 20%+ plunge in the headline stock indexes in 3 or 4 weeks. The definition of a panic is "a sudden widespread fear concerning financial affairs leading to credit contraction and widespread sale of securities at depressed prices in an effort to acquire cash". This is in contrast to crashes, which result in a 20%+ decline in the headline indexes in 2 or 3 days.

Stone Moai:
Moai are monolithic human figures carved by the Rapa Nui people on the Chilean Polynesian island of Easter Island between the years 1250 and 1500 CE.

Many archaeologists suggest that the statues were symbols of authority and power, both religious and political. But they were not only symbols. To the people who erected and used them, they were actual repositories of sacred spirit. Carved stone and wooden objects in ancient Polynesian religions, when properly fashioned and ritually prepared, were believed to be charged by a magical spiritual essence called mana.

Those who possessed mana were able to command the moai to walk to their designated places. Accounts of who actually possessed mana differ greatly. In 1919, Katherine Routledge, a British archaeologist who lived on Easter Island for a year, recorded in her journal: "There was a certain old woman who lived at the southern corner of the mountain and filled the position of cook to the image-makers. She was the most important person of the establishment, and moved the images by supernatural powers (mana), ordering them about at her will." Earlier accounts recorded by visitors to the island indicate that statues were ordered to walk by the mythical King Tuu Ku Ihu and the god Makemake. Even specialized priests were known to move moai at the request of those who wanted them on their family land or ahu. See Makemake Demon

Straining:
"Woe unto you scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weighter matters of the law, justice, judgement, mercy and faith: these ye to have done, and not leave the other undone. Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat and swallow a camel" (Matthew 23:23-24).

The scribes and Pharisees were enemies to the gospel of Christ, and therefore to the salvation of the souls of men. It is bad to keep away from Christ ourselves, but worse also to keep others from him. The Pharisees painstakingly avoided swallowing a tiny gnat. The Pharisees would obey the law to the extent of literally straining their wine or drinking water through a cloth in order to avoid the possibility of swallowing an unclean insect. But they would then turn around and engage in religious activity that was grossly unlawful, immoral and ungodly. The Pharisees were penny wise and pound foolish; if it be a sin, though but a gnat, it must be strained out; and then swallowing a camel, or, overlooking a greater sin.

The ungodliness of the Pharisees is also illustrated in reference to their tithing. One tenth of the harvest was to be given to God. The Pharisees would go so far as to pay tithes on mint, anise, and cummin. To pay tithes on these crops was to be scrupulously obedient. For the tithe was scarcely worth the trouble of removing it from the garden. They were very strict and precise in trivial matters of the law, but careless and loose in more important spiritual parts of the law such as justice, judgement, mercy and faith.

Stubborn:
A stubborn person is someone who is unreasonable and often refuses to change their mind about an idea or an action. Some people believe that if their ideas are abandoned, then they are unimportant. They strongly identify themselves with their ideas. They often feel that their identity will be threatened if people aren’t convinced by what they are saying.

Stubborn people often refuse to give a clear explanation or reason for their resistance. Sometimes a stubborn person may have a strong reason for refusing to change their mind but will not tell why.

In terms of medicine, a stubborn illness is one that is either difficult to treat or resists treatment.

Suicide King:
In a deck of playing cards, the King of Hearts is also called the "Suicide King" because he is sometimes pictured holding a knife in his head. Originally the king had an axe, and over the years, the head of the axe was dropped from the picture. What was left looks like a sword, thus making the king the look like he is stabbing himself in the head.

Sun Cancer Age:
Man is living during a period in history where the ultraviolet radiation from the sun is causing cancer. Sun exposure causes most of the skin changes that we think of as a normal part of aging. Over time, the sun’s ultraviolet (UV) light damages the fibers in the skin called elastin. There are three main types of skin cancer: basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and melanoma. Basal cell and squamous cell cancers are less serious types and make up 95 percent of all skin cancers. Also referred to as non-melanoma skin cancers, they are highly curable when treated early.

Sun Changes:
Scientists have long suspected that the sun affects climate on Earth. Researchers recently demonstrated that the 11-year cycle of solar activity influences weather in the tropical Pacific Ocean. When the sun is at its most intense, ozone in the stratosphere absorbs more ultraviolet energy, making areas near the equator warmer than usual. The added heat changes wind patterns, bringing more rain to the western tropics. At the same time, the extra sunlight causes more evaporation off the ocean, which adds to downpours in the western tropics.

Henrik Svensmark of the Technical University of Denmark and his colleagues are exploring a broader climate impact of solar activity. He believes that cosmic rays—energetic subatomic particles from outer space—help seed cloud-forming water droplets in the lower atmosphere. During peak solar activity, eruptions from the sun spew out huge clouds of plasma that shield Earth from those cosmic rays. After examining cloud cover and cosmic ray fluxes, Svensmark concluded that declines in cosmic rays lead to fewer clouds, implying that an active sun could lead to warmer surface temperatures. Following the strongest solar eruptions, he found that the sky lost 7 percent of its cloud water. Many scientists doubt the significance of these cosmic ray effects, but Svensmark sees the question as ripe for investigation. “The sun is doing natural experiments on Earth’s atmosphere, giving us the opportunity to test these ideas,” he says.

Sunday Off:
"For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it" (Ex.20:11).

"Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made" (Gen.2:1-3).

Sunday marks the beginning of the work week. Saturday is the Sabbath, the official day of rest. The word "Sabbath" comes from Old English word sabat meaning "Saturday as a day of rest," as observed by the Jews, from Latin sabbatum, from Greek sabbaton, from Hebrew shabbath, properly "day of rest," from shabath "he rested." Exodus 20:8-10 reads, "Remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy. Six days shall you labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of the Lord thy God on which you shall do no work." Christ states: "Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven" (Matt.5:19).

When the commandments were given on Mt. Sinai, the Sabbath is included and God instructs man to remember the Sabbath and keep it holy. Why? This was the commandment God gave the people after their release from bondage. They had worked in slavery over 400 years with no days off, the Lord was giving them a blessing, a day as a gift in which they could rest. However they had already broken it by not remembering and He was angry at them saying “why don’t you keep my commandments.” Some Christians believe that it does not matter which day you rest. The Bible states: "But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men" (Matt.15:9). It does matter. God did not instruct man to take Sunday off. The papacy instructed man to take Sunday off. The pope was given the authority to do so. "The pope is of so great authority and power that he can modify, explain, or interpret even divine laws . . . The pope can modify divine law, since his power is not of man, but of God, and he acts as vicegerent of God upon Earth" (Lucius Ferraris, Prompta Bibliotheca, "Papa," art.2). The papacy acknowledges changing the Sabbath Day from Saturday to Sunday. The Catechismus Romanus was commanded by the Council of Trent and published by the Vatican Press, by order of Pope Pius V, in 1566. This catechism for priests states: "It pleased the church of God, that the religious celebration of the Sabbath day should be transferred to "the Lord's day" (Catechism of the Council of Trent (Donovan's translation), part 3, chapt. 4, p.345). "We observe Sunday instead of Saturday because the Catholic Church transferred the solemnity from Saturday to Sunday" (Peter Geiermann, The Converts's Catechism of Catholic Doctrine (1946 ed.), p.50). "You may read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, and you will not find a single line authorizing the sanctification of Sunday. The Scriptures enforce the religious observance of Saturday, a day that we never sanctify" (James Cardinal Gibbons, The Faith of Our Fathers (1917 ed.), pp. 72, 73).

"The earliest recognition of the observance of Sunday as a legal duty is a constitution to Constantine in 321 A.D., enacting that all courts of justice, inhabitants of towns, and workshops were to be at rest on Sunday (venerabili die solis), with the exception of in favor of those engaged in agricultural labor" (Encyclopedia Britannica, 11th ed). "On the venerable Day of the Sun let magistrates and people in residing cities rest, and let all workshops be closed. In the country, however, persons engaged in agriculture may freely and lawfully continue their pursuits; because it often happens that another day is not suitable for grain-sowing or for vine planting; lest by neglecting the proper moment for such operations the bounty of heaven should be lost" (Codex Justinianus, lib.3, tit. 12, 3; translated in the History of the Christian Church, by Philip Schaff (Scribbers, 1902 ed.) vol. 3, p. 380).

The change of the Sabbath was the result of the combined efforts of church and state, and it took centuries to accomplish it. Just as man disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden by partaking of the forbidden fruit, man continues to disobey and rebel against God's commands.

Sun Fires:
High humidity can affect both the conditions that contribute to fire ignition and the spread of the fire. Higher temperatures can cause fuels to dry out more quickly, and make them more susceptible to ignition. High humidity can retard combustion and fire spread by keeping fuels moist. Conversely, dry air evaporates moisture from fuels, making them more susceptible to combustion.

There are fuels that can self-heat to temperatures sufficient for ignition. These fuels include hay, grain dust, wood chips, and manure. Spontaneous combustion occurs when heat from exothermic chemical or biological processes does not dissipate, usually because of restricted airflow. This often happens in large piles of the self-heating fuel, or in hot conditions that increase the temperature of the material. Heating is accelerated on warm, humid days. Unburned amounts of the spontaneously-heated mixture may remain after the fire if flame did not reach the bottom of the pile and/or if there was not sufficient oxygen flow through the pile for complete burning. See Will Burn

Sun Moon:
"The whole world is in my hand, I will conquer and subjugate the world."
(Sun Myung Moon, Master Speaks, May 17, 1973)

Sun Myung Moon (born January 6, 1920) is the Korean founder and leader of the worldwide Unification Church. He is also the founder of many other organizations and projects involved in political, cultural, artistic, mass-media, educational, public service, and other activities. One of the best-known of these is the conservative Washington Times newspaper. He also owns or sponsors major business enterprises, the United Press International, and Pyeonghwa Motors.

Moon has said, and it is believed by Unification Church members, that he is the Messiah and the Second Coming of Christ and is fulfilling Jesus' unfinished mission.

Sun Shield:
A physical sunscreen or a barrier against the sun's ultraviolet rays. Provoked by high rates of skin cancer, many people avoid the sun as much as possible and cover themselves with sunscreen before spending any time outdoors.

Sunlight is a great source of Vitamin D. Vitamin D helps strengthen our bones and muscles and immune system. Dietary supplements only provide around 200 international units (IU) a day. The minimum desirable intake is 1,000 IU of vitamin D a day. You can get all the Vitamin D your body needs daily in just ten minutes outside in the sun. Scientists have discovered, without some sun on the skin, the population will be seriously deficient in vitamin D and may be at risk of developing other cancers later in life, as well as osteoporosis, arthritis and even schizophrenia.

Sun's Max:
In February 2001, the sun's magnetic field flipped. The Sun's magnetic north pole, which was in the northern hemisphere, now points south. "This always happens around the time of solar maximum," says David Hathaway, a solar physicist at the Marshall Space Flight Center. "The magnetic poles exchange places at the peak of the sunspot cycle. In fact, it's a good indication that Solar Max is really here."

Solar maximum or solar max is the period of greatest solar activity in the solar cycle of the sun. During solar maximum, sunspots appear. During this time, the sun's magnetic field lines are the most distorted due to the magnetic field on the solar equator rotating at a slightly faster pace than at the solar poles.

In 2008, scientists found two large leaks in Earth's magnetosphere, the region around our planet that shields us from severe solar storms. The leaks are defying many of scientists' previous ideas on how the interaction between Earth's magnetosphere and solar wind occurs: The leaks are in an unexpected location, let in solar particles in faster than expected and the whole interaction works in a manner that is completely the opposite of what scientists had thought.

The new observations "overturn the way that we understand how the sun's magnetic field interacts with the Earth's magnetic field," said David Sibeck of NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md., during a press conference today at the annual meeting of the American Geophysical Union in San Francisco.

To learn more about the sun's activities and solar max:

In 2008, NASA solar physicist David Hathaway states: "There have been some reports lately that Solar Minimum is lasting longer than it should. That's not true. The ongoing lull in sunspot number is well within historic norms for the solar cycle."

Two years after reporting the sun was behaving normally, NASA solar physicist David Hathaway seems to have changed his mind: "This is solar behavior we haven't seen in living memory". For the past two years, the sunspots have mostly been missing. Their absence, the most prolonged in nearly 100 years, has taken even seasoned sun watchers by surprise.

Supercell:
A supercell is a thunderstorm that is characterized by the presence of a mesocyclone: a deep, persistently rotating updraft. For this reason, these storms are sometimes referred to as rotating thunderstorms. Supercells can produce large hail, damaging winds, deadly tornadoes, flooding, dangerous cloud-to-ground lightning, and heavy rain.

Supermen:
All nations have traditions of giants who were part man and superman. These giants were noted for their strength and warlike abilities. The Greeks called them Titans while the Bible called them Nephilim.

Suppose:
Suppose means to believe especially on uncertain or tentative grounds.

Faith is often portrayed as believing in something that has no evidence. However, religion has evidence to prove itself and a main source of that evidence is The Holy Bible. Both the Old and New Testaments are strongly supported by manuscript evidence (the evidence of early hand written copies). The famous Dead Sea Scrolls are one example of the Old Testament evidence. These documents came from the “library” of a settlement founded at Qumran before 150 B.C. and abandoned about 68 A.D. Some of the manuscript copies were made during that period, and some were written earlier (third century BC) and brought to the settlement. Ignoring spelling-oriented (orthographic) changes and similar small differences, the Dead Sea Scrolls match the Hebrew text behind today’s Old Testament, in spite of the passage of over 2,000 years (where one would expect errors to creep in).

Over 20,000 known manuscripts document the New Testament text. This makes the New Testament the most reliable document of antiquity (a document written before the printing press). These manuscripts vary in size from a part of a page to an entire Bible (Old and New Testaments). The earliest New Testament manuscripts date from the second century (100-199) AD. These manuscript copies were written in different languages by people of different nationalities, cultures, and backgrounds. In spite of all those differences between them, the New Testament texts all agree. Therefore, faith is believing in what is true. "Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Rom.10:17). "Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward; How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him" (Heb.2:1-3). A person's faith must be whole-hearted and not tentative, off and on, or lukewarm.

"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it" (Matt.7:21-29).

Our faith can be either like the house that was built on a rock or like the house that was built on sand. A person must carefully build his life (his thoughts, his words, and his actions) on the only sure foundation: Jesus Christ. A persons faith must be strong, "nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed" (James 1:6).

"Jesus said, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?" (John 11:25-26).

Jesus' disciple Thomas refused to believe that Jesus had risen from the dead until He saw the risen Lord. Jesus said to Thomas: "Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

And Thomas answered and said unto him, My LORD and my God. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed" (John 20:27-30).

God requires us to believe in him and his word even when scientific evidence suggests we do otherwise. God requires belief and trust in moments of weakness.

Swears God:
"But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation" (James 5:12).

There is agreement among commentators that the basic point of the instruction in 5:12 is to ensure the integrity of one's speech. James is pointing out that if a Christian says she/he will do or not do something, or that something is so, we must mean what we have said, i.e. we must mean ‘yes’ or ‘no’ as the case may be. Swearing to God is not to be taken lightly. As Christians, we are to represent God in honesty and obedience and reflect Him in our conduct in every way. Because God is with us, every word that we speak is spoken in God's presence and thus should be true, making swears to God unnecessary. Therefore, we do not need God's name in an oath to back up our word. Saying ‘yes’ or ‘no’ should suffice by itself. If it were not so we would be blaspheming God every time we said yes when we did not mean it. We would be breaking the commandment to not bear false witness. A Christian's word should be his bond. Therefore honor the commitments you make. Honoring your commitments is part of your character. Failing to honor your commitments will tarnish your image and have a negative effect on your reputation. Are you someone who honors the commitments you make to your family and friends, coworkers, etc.? Do you keep the promises you make to them? Do you honor commitments you make to yourself? Do you honor the commitments you have made to God?

The people of Judah, with the priests leading the way, had failed to keep their covenant agreement with God. They treated God with disrespect, dishonoring His name. They treated sacred things as common. They turned away from God's Law, disobeying His commandments. With the most egregious display of dishonor, some men divorced their wives, breaking their vows to marry pagan women.

Malachi provided a stern rebuke. He reminds his hearers that if they fail to keep their commitments, God will curse them. "'If you don't listen, and if you don't take it to heart to honor My name,' says Yahweh of Hosts, 'I will send a curse among you, and I will curse your blessings. In fact, I have already begun to curse them because you are not taking it to heart'" (Mal. 2:2).

The warning is clear: Failing to honor your commitments will damage your personal testimony, impact your success in life, and strain your relationship with God.

Here are a few points to keep in mind before making a commitment to someone:
  • You can't do everything, so it's okay to say no.
  • You should only make commitments you intend to keep.
  • You should clear up any broken agreement you make at the first opportunity.
  • It is important to follow through on the commitments you have made even though it may require sacrifice, labor, etc.
  • You should honor your commitments in a prompt and timely fashion. If you say you’re going to do something, do it. If for some reason you are not going to be able to do it then tell the person you made the promise to in advance.
  • If you borrow anything whether or not you have a promised return time, stay in touch. Don’t dodge them. Remember they sacrificed to help you. If you don't return what was borrowed, now that person is at a loss. If you fail to pay back money, then your debt is now their debt. Don't assume that person will be okay if you fail to pay back what you owe. Don’t assume that they don’t need the money back in a reasonable time. Their perceived financial situation should not be the standard by which you decide when you pay back what you owe.
  • You should not give someone false hope. No one should be hurt by your failure to honor your word.
  • Don't take your loved ones or their generosity for granted. Your loved ones help you because they love you and care. So don't take advantage.
Swindling:
To cheat or defraud a person of money or property by some fraudulent scheme.

Syllabus:
Syllabus also called Syllabus of Errors is the name given to two series of propositions containing modern religious errors condemned respectively by Pius IX (1864) and Pius X (1907).

The general contents of the Syllabus are summed up in the headings of the ten paragraphs, under which, the eighty theses are grouped. They are: Pantheism, Naturalism, Absolute Rationalism (1-7); Moderate Rationalism (8-14); Indifferentism and false Tolerance in Religious matters (15-18); Socialism, Communism, Secret Societies, Bible Societies, Liberal Clerical Associations (reference is made to three Encyclicals and two Allocutions of the pope, in which these tendencies are condemned), Errors regarding the Church and its rights (19-38); Errors on the State and its Relation to the Church (39-55); Errors on Natural and Christian Ethics (56-64); Errors on Christian Marriage (65-74); Errors on the Temporal Power of the Pope (75-76); Errors in Connection with Modern Liberalism (77-80).

All the principles of the U. S. Constitution and modern civilization have been condemned in this Syllabus. Pope Pius IX seemed especially to fear the spread of liberalism within the Church. He believed the spread of liberalism in the Church might lead to a democratization of Church authority itself.

In subsequent years, the churches attack on liberalism increasingly centered on Jews, who were explicitly connected with Freemasonry in countries such as France and Poland. At the time of the rise of Nazism, the attack on Jews as Freemasons became a mojor source of antisemitism, which significantly muted the church's response to Hitler's mass murder of the Jews. Pius IX clearly laid the groundwork for a "new antisemitism" through the Syllabus and other writings.

As a result, Pope Pius IX was the most hated man of the 19th century. At his funeral procession, the Romans tried to throw his body into the Tiber River.
